Question by bad girl: How do you think Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. could show it is “fair and balanced”?
Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp., which owns Fox News, recently gave the Republican Governors Association a million donation. This is a substantial political contribution from the parent company of a television network with the motto “fair and balanced.” If they were truly fair and balanced, wouldn’t they give the Democratic Governors Association the same amount? Or perhaps “fair and balanced” is an Orwellian euphemism that means “biased and slanted.”

How do you know they haven’t made just such a donation in the past?

Question by vt500ascott2: Will the new FBN (Fox Business Network) just make sh1t up like it’s parent Fox News?
My guess is yes. Yes they will. It’s just going to be another outlet for News Corp’s right-wing political views, though they’ll be trying to sucker a slightly different audience. In the end, adherents to FBN and Fox News will have at least one thing in common. Any guesses?

(hint: rhymes with sintellicrence, low sintellicrence…)
Actually, with the exception of Iraq (where everything is going swimmingly according to Fox), Fox is the network of gloom, doom, and misery. There’s even a war on Christmas, haven’t you heard?
Just because Moveon makes stuff up does not mean that Fox DOESN’T make stuff up. The problem is that Fox is incredibly well funded and is beamed directly into every American’s living room. If Moveon was beamed directly into everyone’s living room like Fox, at least the gullible people would have some balance in their lives…

Question by limpkornrock7: What is the best way to break the news?
I have just recently got my fiance pregnant and we plan to marry very soon. I just moved out of my parents house shorter than a month ago. I am 19 and the girl I plan to marry is 18. How do I break the news to them about the baby and the marriage without having them freakout. Keep in mind…we have already moved in together (for not that long), I already have the ring, we have a good doctor and medicade to take care of us. Give me your opinions please.
