Question by claire r: school assembly had inappropriate content I would like your reaction?
My 11 year old daughter came home last week upset because of something that happened at her school assembly. They were talking about “fake friends” and during this discussion they played a recording of a real 911 tape. In this tape a little girls mother and brother came home to find her dead from a self inflicted gun shot wound to the head. The mother and brother were screaming. The 911 operator asked if she was still breathing, and they told her no that her brains were out of her head blood everwhere anyway it just gets more disturbing and graphic from there. My question is this. I called the school very upset. I told the principal that there is a reason that things like that are rated parental guidance required when shown on T.V. I felt that it was completely unacceptable. What gave them the right to decide that this was appropriate for my child. The principal treated me as if I was overreacting. Am I? Would you be OK with this?

You are not wrong! You had better believe that there are other parents out there who think like you do! Give that principal something to think about!

its designed for wrestling with its pg image. pg means parental guidance which is the guidance of the parents of children who guide them when their watching wrestling and don’t guide adults.

its really for teenageers and adults, which I am 17 and it should turn back to tv-14 around ‘Hell in a Cell’ I heard. I mean, now that its PG there ain’t any Bra and panties matches, blood, gore, and much excitement.
