Our Purpose

Purpose

To build a thriving, Holy Spirit-leading multi-racial, global Church/ Ministries – a tabernacle of Hope, and a Center for soul upliftment, where we can all call home. We believe we can achieve that objective by making effective use of our spiritual gifts, skills talents, and other resources given to us by God to identify, train, and equip men and women, young or old either as new believers or those seeking to be restored back to a right relationship with God. We have a great passion for encouraging and influencing our future leaders of the body of Christ. We aim to stir up faith in the hearts (Hebrew 11:1) of our congregants in the right direction and in ways they never thought possible, to encourage people to live the holy life that Christ has called us all to live – with the overall objective of receiving eternal life. Furthermore, we aim to utilize the message of the gospel through various Channels, to impact people’s lives at every contact: in preaching, teaching, counseling, prayer, social services in the community, and/or in our hospitality ministries. For that purpose, we hunger and thirst for God and His son Jesus Christ such that we seek to effectively fulfill our divine mandate of life transformation and divine restoration of souls to God.

Helping God’ S Children Reach Their Life Purpose Through Various Media Platforms And Outlets:

Our main vehicle for spreading the gospel is through our dynamic soul uplifting online Live streaming and in-person services. Our messages and services have reached people near and wide –both locally and globally. We also collaborate with other churches and ministries to deliver the message of faith, hope, and love and to serve. Thus, through our various services and church programs, thousands of lives have been changed, renewed, transformed, and blessed daily. From the struggling single mother/parents in shelters, to feeding the homeless, and prison visits. Nursing home ministry (Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan, and the Bronx). Community counseling and supportive services, youth and adolescent mentoring program, and the teen rescue hope program. As a church and ministry, we work in collaboration with hospitals, public schools, NYC Police department, social service agencies, foster care programs, veteran affairs service agencies, and with international children ministries to sponsor some children.

At New Life Redemption Church/Justin Emenike Miniseries (JEM) we take the ministry of Christ to where it is needed and not only at our home church. Apostle Emenike Dynamic impactful messages transcend culture and race. This is the reason why we are able to extend our ministry across the international borders to Pakistan, Nepal, the Philippines, Haiti, Dominica, Antigua, Jamaica, Guyana, Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya, Ivory Coast etc., and touch thousands of lives.

It is such a blessing to be able to touch the lives of those who have not had the opportunity to hear the true word of the gospel or to make a commitment to Jesus Christ our Lord.

With each service, broken lives and wounded hearts are mended and healed by prayer and the word of God; chains and yokes are broken, burdens lifted, God is revealed, hope is given and a relationship with Christ is established or restored. We see many souls coming to Christ for the first time after they have witnessed the compassion and love that Christ offers to anyone that would come to him.

Divinity or the divine means devoted to related to and/or proceeding from a deity. There is only One God, but He manifests Himself in Three Persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, which forms “The Holy Trinity or the Triune God.” God the Father is the Almighty One and the only living sovereign God. Exodus 13: 1-16, (Hebrew word for YHWH or Yahweh), the I am. He is Lord God, Jehovah or Elohim -The Creator and the One that sent the Word. John 1:1-4. His Begotten Son, Jesus Christ to the world John 3:16, John 14:28; 16:28; John 1:14. Jehovah or Yahweh was the personal name of God in the Old Testament, not just the Israelite God, but the one true God the Maker and Creator of the universe. The name was translated using the Greek curios or Kyrios (lord” or “master”) which is the title used to refer to Jesus in the New Testament. The Son is the Word made flesh and has existed from the beginning with the Father. John 1:14; 1:18; 1:1. Jesus is referred to as “Lord” in the Gospels in such a way as to identify him with Yahweh (Matt. 3:3; Mark 1:3; cf. Isa. 40:3; Matt. 8:25). The Holy Spirit proceeds from both the Father and the Son. The same God each with distinctive functions and with different spheres of authority and power within, and the same nature. Jesus gives substance to the Word and He is eternal. John 15:26.

Mankind was created in the likeness or image of God. It is said that Man is the crowning glory of God’s creation. Thus, humans are considered the pinnacle of God’s creative masterwork, holding a special place as the most significant of God’s DNA – and the most complex being on Earth, with unique abilities like reasoning, will, and morality. This essential position signifies that humans are the most important part of God’s creation. However, because of the transgression and the fall of Adam and Eve, sin and suffering came into the world. Gen. 1:1-6. Gen. 1:28-29, Genesis 2:1–3, Romans 3:23; 6:23; 3:10. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came in the flesh – after His death on the cross, taking our place – for our sins. He resurrected and was gloried to be with the Father. Christ shall return to earth as Promised to destroy the works of the devil. He gave His life and shed His blood to redeem us so that we might be restored to a perfect relationship with God. Romans 5:12; Colossians 1:13-14; Ephesians 2:16-18; 1 John 3:8.

Life continues after death, John 5:28–29. There is no reincarnation. The gift of eternal life comes to those who believe in, and accept Jesus Christ, who is Himself “the resurrection and the life.” John 11:25. The fact that this life is “eternal” indicates that it is perpetual life—it goes on and on and on, with no end (immortality of the soul), Philippians 3:21, Romans 6:4. It is a quality of life that begins on earth and continues in heaven. The Bible describes eternal life as a gift from God that is independent of time and can function both within and outside of the realm of time.

How can you know that you have eternal life? There is no redemption without the forgiveness and cleansing of our sins. Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. Blessed is the one who fears the LORD always, but whoever hardens his heart will fall into calamity. (Proverbs 28:13-14 ESV). First, confess your sin before God. Then accept God’s plan of a Savior on your behalf. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord (Jesus Christ) will be saved” (Romans 10:13). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, He died for our sins, and He rose again on the third day. Repent of your sin and believe this good news; trust the Lord Jesus as your Savior, and you will be saved (Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9–10). Repentance leads to a New Birth of the Spirit in Christ, not of the flesh. For sin leads to death and Judgement but the New Birth in Christ produces eternal life with God. John 3:3-5; 2 Corinthians 7:10; 1 John 5:12-13.

Salvation can be defined as a state of being saved or protected from harm, loss, and/ or danger. It can also refer to the act of saving or protecting someone from the consequences of something. In religion and theology, salvation is the deliverance of the soul from sin and its consequences. We believe that salvation can only be obtained here on earth, and not after death. It cannot be obtained by means of our own works of charity, observing custom, and following the traditions of men or some other deeds. Salvation is obtained by the Grace of God through Faith, made possible through the sacrifice of Jesus atonement for our sin on the cross. To receive Salvation, a person has to believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ and that he came to redeem mankind, you, from sin, through dying on the cross in your place. You will have to make a confession and a declaration by free will acceptance of the Redemptive Word of Jesus Christ, as truth and, proclaim Jesus as Lord and Savior. Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 4:12; Romans 10:8-10; Hebrews 9:23-24.

Divine healing, miracles, signs, and wonders are not left in the Old Testament and New Testament eras. God is still doing miracles and divine healing is still happening all over the world. Signs and wonders are ongoing on a basis daily. Today, we are witnessing the things that were impossible hundreds of years before but are now happening before our very eyes. By that I mean, hundreds of thousands, if not millions of testimonies of people from other religions, like Hindus, Muslims, etc., even from countries where Christianity is completely banned, are turning to Christ – with many signs and wonders – being confirmed. Healing, freedom from bondage, and deliverance are part of God’s promises and gifts to us. This can be done by prayer or by the laying of hands, even by speaking the word of God power is being released by the Holy Spirit, which is the work Christ now glorified with the God the father.  James 5:15-16; Mark 16:18; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24; Psalm 103:3; Psalm 107:20.

The Bible teaches that everyone, once they become a follower of Jesus, should be baptized. And if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, but have not yet been baptized as a believer in Jesus, then baptism is your next step!

Acts 22:16 declares…
“What are you waiting for? Get up and be baptized. Have your sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord.”

Baptism is performed by means of immersing the whole body in water. We do not baptize babies since they are still underaged, a babe,’ an infant, and immature. Children are not old enough to take full account of their actions nor do they understand the full extent of the gravity of making daily decisions as expected of an adult. There are several denominations out there that practice “infant baptism.” While there are several reasons, which doesn’t make sense although, I can appreciate the motivation behind this practice, but it certainly finds no justification in Scripture. It is simply not biblical to baptize an infant or children. Children are vulnerable and are easily influenced; they cannot make life-long commitments or decisions by themselves. They cannot take independent actions outside of external influence, and they certainly cannot make confessions by conviction. They are still being led and cannot fully comprehend the extent of Christ’s suffering on the Cross – His death & resurrection. Ezekiel 18:20, Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; 1 Peter 3:21, Colossians 2:12; Acts 2:36-39
